About the Role The Soccer Coach will be responsible for leading the Firsts team throughout Term 3, delivering engaging and purposeful training sessions and supporting students during competition.
Working closely with staff, students, and families, you will foster both individual growth and team success while promoting a positive sporting culture aligned with Loreto Kirribilli’s values and commitment to student wellbeing. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate soccer training sessions
- Prepare and coach the Firsts team for trials, training, and competition
- Develop students’ technical skills, game understanding, teamwork, and confidence
- Provide constructive feedback and positive encouragement to support student growth
- Promote sportsmanship, commitment, resilience, and respectful behaviour
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive team environment
- Collaborate with school staff regarding team organisation, communication, and match-day requirements
- Attend scheduled training sessions, games, and school sporting commitments throughout Term 3
- Model professionalism, reliability, and behaviours aligned with Loreto Kirribilli’s values
About YouYou will demonstrate: - Experience coaching soccer (school or youth level preferred)
- Relevant coaching qualifications/accreditation (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and build positive relationships with young people
- Reliable, organised, and professional approach
- Passion for supporting student wellbeing and participation in sport
You will need to have the following qualifications: - Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR
